I think that what we need to do is invite and recognize all past Grand Knights that attend. If they are deceased and their spouse is there they should be recognized. Since this is a Knights function and we are doing the deal I do not think that it is appropriate that we ask the Alter Society to participate. I beleive that we should do it all ourselves.
